The Indian Coast Guard has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 320 Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online. Below are the details of the recruitment process:

1. Navik (General Duty)

• No of posts: 260
• Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

2. Yantrik

• No of posts: 60
• Educational Qualification:
  • Class 10th passed from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 3 or 4 years duration approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
  • OR
  • Class 10th & Class 12th passed from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 2 or 3 years duration approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Other Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment

• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 22 years old, born between 01 Mar 2003 and 28 Feb 2007 (both dates inclusive).
• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates is applicable if posts are reserved for them.

Examination Fee

• UR/OBC: Rs. 300/-
• SC/ST: Nil
• Mode of Payment: Net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI.
