Guwahati College has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 9 Assistant Professor, Grade III, and Grade IV posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.

1. Assistant Professor

Number of posts: 4

Subject-wise vacancies:

• Hindi: 1 (SC)
• Mathematics: 1 (UR)
• Chemistry: 1 (UR)
• Geography: 1 (SC)

Educational Qualification: Educational qualifications and selection will be as per Assam Government’s Guidelines vide O.M. No. AHE/239/2031/68 Dt.24-01-2022 & No. DHE/CE/Misc/49/2021/Pt5 Dt.09/02/2022. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel.

PRC: Candidates must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know the local language.

2. Junior Assistant (Grade III)

Number of posts: 3 [UR: 2, OBC/MOBC: 1]

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be graduates in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized college/institution affiliated with a recognized university.

Computer Proficiency: Candidates must possess a three-month diploma in computer.

3. Grade IV

Number of posts: 2 [STP: 1, OBC/MOBC: 1]

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class VIII.

Assistant Professor: Applications in the prescribed format available on the DHE, Assam & College Website (www.guwahaticollege.org.in) with a complete Bio-Data including contact number, email, etc., and self-attested copies of all testimonials from HSLC standard onwards along with a demand draft of Rs. 1,500/- (Non-Refundable) drawn in favor of the Principal, Guwahati College, payable at SBI, New Guwahati Branch, must be submitted to the following address within 15 days from the date of publication [DOP: AT, 13/06/2024] of this advertisement.

Grade III & Grade IV: Applications in Standard Form of Assam Gazette (Part-IX) along with all necessary documents and a demand draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for Grade III, and Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) for Grade IV, drawn in favor of the Principal, Guwahati College, payable at SBI, New Guwahati Branch, must reach the following address within 15 days from the date of publication [DOP: AT, 13/06/2024] of this advertisement.
