Eligibility Criteria for AEGCL Recruitment
Residentship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and a permanent resident of Assam.
PRC: Candidates must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should have proficiency in Assamese or the local language.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01-01-2024.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/STP/STH: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.
- Departmental candidates and SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree.
Computer Proficiency: Candidates should have proficiency in computer applications and possess a diploma certificate in computer applications with a minimum duration of 3 months.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in any employment exchange in Assam.
Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying.
